Full-plate fire-gilt movement with tulip pillars, fusee and chain, and winged cock engraved with a crowned portrait and military motifs. Glazed aperture reveals the oscillating steel balance; pierced and engraved regulator plate. The rare dial features a standard minute ring, engraved military symbols in place of hour numerals, a signed cartouche “Bvkingham – London,” and a rotating Roman numeral chapter read by a single blue steel poker hand. Plain silver inner case with split bezel, pendant, and ring bow, maker’s mark “RB.” Outer case with cast Venus and Mars scene from a 17th-century German medal and seven-joint hinge.
