Full plate fire-gilt movement with high-count train wheels, pierced and engraved cock, fusee and chain, and plain three-arm steel balance with blue steel hairspring. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and gold beetle-and-poker hands. Gold inner case (marks indistinct) and gold-and-enamel outer case with maker’s mark “HB,” featuring champlevé decoration including a central classical urn and floral motifs. Matching gilt and enamel chatelaine with hinged clip, multiple chains, and gold cartouches, one originally holding a missing crank key. Housed in a black shagreen-lined silk case.
