A late 19th-century Swiss cylinder watch set into an unusual diamond-set gold bracelet. The keywind gilt-bar movement has a going barrel, a plain cock with polished steel regulator, and a plain three-arm gilt balance with blued-steel spiral hairspring. The polished steel cylinder and steel escape wheel complete the movement.

The dial features translucent dark blue enamel over an engine-turned ground, gilt Arabic numerals, and gilt hands. The circular diamond-set bezel, hinged from the bracelet, houses the movement and gold cuvette, which is wound via a small turnbuckle.

The bracelet is composed of three tapered rectangular gold strands, partially set with small diamonds. It closes with a hinged gold clasp and a fine safety chain.
